{Lust List} Republic Of Pigtails

You all know my love of bows and my love for my new Republic of Pigtails bow made from a pretty textured red fabric and gold ribbon. I’m wearing the Simone Hair Clip in Apple above. It’s the perfect way to up the cute factor to any outfit. It even has a hint of sparkle on the red fabric making it great for a night out look too.

Definitely check out their website. They also have super cute fascinators that would be perfect for a party or my upcoming wedding!

I’ve been dying to go on a road trip lately. I’m not sure why. A mini vacay with no destination and lots of memory making and picture taking along with way please! This vintage color palette has me thinking we should treasure hunt along the way too!

Have you taken a road trip lately?

{Color Palette} Sugared Strawberries

For Father’s Day yesterday, I made mixed berry shortcakes for our little BBQ outside. This little color palette is making me crave more today! The little sugar crystals just glisten on the bright red. (via I Bleed Cake)

What’s your favorite berry?

{Color Palette} Red Dressed Lady

Photographed by Andreas Sjodin for Elle Sweden May 2011

I’m romanticizing about wearing a wispy red dress like this with an equally stunning floppy hat. Actually pulling it off is another thing, but one can daydream.

What are you pining for most about Spring?

{Color Palette} Hello Bright Lips!

Photo via James’ Diary

I remember when bright red lips were becoming trendy. I tried them out at the makeup counter and I thought I looked silly so I could never get into it. Since then, I’ve been dreaming about a day when I can pull them off. This photo is motivating. I think I need a trip to the makeup counter soon!

Have you tried bright lipstick lately? What’s your favorite shade?

{Color Palette} A Cup Of Heart

My morning tea is my ritual. The smell and warm cup in my hands is so calming. I think I may need to work this heart cup into the routine though especially for February.

Are you a coffee or tea drinker?

Nature Portland

{Color Palette} Crabby Mood

The Portland Aquarium opened last weekend and we went to pet the stingrays and sharks. I got A’s parents a membership for Christmas and I can’t wait for them to explore it too! I used to wander in awe at the Monterey Bay Aquarium and wished I could stay for hours and stare at the jellyfish. I thought this color palette was perfect in celebration for our first visit!

Have you ever been to an aquarium?

Daydream In Oxblood

Curb Chain Triangle Necklace ($32) | Free People Opaque Tights ($12) | Biba Ruby Clutch Bag (£149) | Cross Stitch Knit Hat ($28) | Ralph Lauren Lamp ($330) | RGB Nail Polish ($16) | Long Sleeved Dress ($27) | Rivulets Bedding ($68-368) | Oxblood Pumps ($44)

No color is more appropriate for Autumn and Halloween with its name. This deep hue is all the rage this season. I’m loving how it can be romantic and almost gothic, but also classy. It’s perfect paired with neutrals, leather, and metallics like the gold above.

How are you wearing or incorporating oxblood into your life?
