Watercolor and illustrations are always my weakness and today they come in the form of Laura Manfre’s work. I love how she illustrates seemingly every day items with bold color combos and whim.

With my new gardening obsession, I’m figuring out what to include in my plants to make a good habitat for hummingbirds and butterflies. My newly spawned intrigue with all things butterflies led me to the work of Rebecca J Coles. She cuts hand drawn butterflies from paper destined for the trash and arranges them beautifully.

{Wish I Was Wednesday} Liesl Pfeffer

I love Liesl Pfeffer’s photograph collages. They make me look at each photograph so much more close and also the big picture at the same time.

Aren’t these time lapse photos amazing? They look like paintings. I wish I could have a mural sized version in my house. The colors are just mesmerizing. With the recent summer heat, I feel like I can almost feel the colors coming through!

Anything bunny just has me hooked. I’m loving these cheeky little animal portraits by Miss Foo for her brand Pleatybunny (via The Finders Keepers). The collages are so unique and cute at the same time.

{Wish I Was Wednesday} Taisuke Koyama

The “Melting Rainbows” series by Taisuke Koyama is so intriguing. He placed inkjet prints of his previous series “Rainbow Form” on his balcony to see how nature interacted with them. The results are so beautiful and unexpected.

I love how dreamy all the work from Taren Maroun is. She puts little stories with her photographs and it really makes me think twice. She’s so great at capturing life and emotion. It also makes me want to pick up a camera and go aimlessly shooting in hopes of maybe one day getting such a picture…

{Wish I Was Wednesday} Tom Poulsom

Lego master Tom Poulsom made these tropical birds out of Legos. I mean I played with Legos as a kid but this is the big leagues. The best I ever did was making a boxy house. You have to look through his Flickr for other amazing creations too!

Markus Reugels’ high speed liquid splash photography has me rethinking what to take photos of! I had no idea a splash could be so complex and beautiful (via Colossal).
